So it was my birthday on the 1st of January and Bruce made me a very yummy chocolate cake he found in Donna Hay's chocolate book: filled with mascarpone coffee cream and covered in chocolate ganache, it's pure indulgence and the perfect birthday cake. So I remade the cake with a few minor changes for the blog as I thought it was too good not to share.
We had some gorgeous blue skies last week, so I grabbed my camera and together with Bruce, we went for a lovely walk around Marylebone - love that part of London. Here are a few shots from the walk:
I've also finally joined Pinterest properly. I mean, I joined sometime last year, but just didn't have the time to really get into it. And now that I've spent some time on there, I'm officially addicted! For all those on Pinterest, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about (or is it just me?).
